QSE Index Rises by 9.06 Points at Start of Trading
Doha, March 20 (QNA) - The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) rose by 9.06 points, or 0.09%, at the start of trading on Thursday, reaching 10,393 points, compared to last close.
QSE index was supported by gains in Consumer Goods and Services (+0.44%), Banks and Financial Services (+0.22%), and Insurance (+0.01%). However, declines were recorded in Transportation (-0.01%), Industrials (-0.04%), Telecoms (-0.09%), and Real Estate (-0.39%).
By 10:00 am, a total of 18,449 million shares were traded in 1,438 transactions, valued at QR 37.839 million. (QNA)
