QSE Index Rises by 22.09 Points at Start of Trading
Doha, March 24 (QNA) - The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) rose by 22.09 points, or 0.22%, at the start of trading on Thursday, reaching 10,289 points, compared to last close.
QSE index was supported by gains in Transportation (0.95%), Real Estate (0.35%), Banks and Financial Services (0.23%), and Consumer Goods and Services (0.16%). On the other hand, declines were recorded in Industrials (-0.06%), Insurance (-0.22%), and Telecoms (-0.25%).
By 10:00 am, a total of 24.795 million shares were traded in 1678 transactions, valued at QR 42.328 million. (QNA)
