QSE Index Rises 2.74% at Beginning of Trading

Doha, April 10 (QNA) - Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index rose at the beginning of Thursday's trading by 2.74%, adding 271 points and climbing to the level of 10,175 points, compared to the closing of the previous session.

QSE data showed positive performance for the Industrial sector by 3.52%, the Real Estate sector by 2.87%, the Banking and Financial Services sector by 2.78%, the Consumer Goods and Services sector by 2.24%, the Telecom sector by 2.19% and the Transportation sector by 1.69%, while the Insurance sector declined by 0.07%.

At 10:00 am, QSE recorded 7,190 transactions valued at QR 209.707 million, distributed over 111.012 million shares. (QNA)
