QSE Index Rises 0.45% at Beginning of Tuesday's Trading

Doha, September 16 (QNA) - Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index rose at the beginning of Tuesday's trading by 0.45%, gaining 49.67 points to reach the level of 11,149 points, compared to the previous session's close, supported by most sectors.

Figures from QSE showed a positive performance across most sectors. Banking and Financial Services sector rose by 0.63%, Consumer Goods and Services by 0.49%, Telecoms by 0.44%, Real Estate by 0.32%, and both Industrial and Transportation sectors by 0.29% each. Meanwhile, Insurance recorded a negative performance of 0.02%.

At 10:00 a.m, QSE recorded 3,511 transactions worth QR 93.025 million, distributed over 47.505 million shares. (QNA)
