QSE Index Loses 34.16 Points at Beginning of Trading

Doha, March 12 (QNA) - Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index lost 0.33% at the beginning of Wednesday's trading, dropping by 34.16 points to reach 10,450 points, compared to the close of the last session.

Qatar Stock Exchange index declined due to the negative performance of the Real Estate sector by 0.43%, the Consumer Goods and Services sector by 0.24%, the Industrial sector by 0.17%, the Banking and Financial Services sector by 0.10%, and the Insurance sector by 0.08%. In contrast, the Telecommunications sector showed a positive performance of 0.87%, and the Transport sector rose by 0.16%.

At around 10:00 AM, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded 1,535 transactions worth QR 38.342 million, distributed across 21.266 million shares. (QNA)
