QSE Index Edges Higher at Start of Trading

Doha, February 23 (QNA) - The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) edged up by 0.01% at the start of trading on Sunday, adding 1.09 points to reach 10,655, compared to Thursday's close.

The index was supported by gains in Telecoms (+0.46%), Industrials (+0.21%), and Real Estate (+0.09%). However, declines were recorded in Banks and Financial Services (-0.01%), Transportation (-0.06%), Insurance (-0.15%), and Consumer Goods and Services (-0.17%).

By 10:00 am, 34.073 million shares were traded in 2,426 transactions, valued at QR 70.830 million. (QNA)
