QSE Index Drops by 40.03 Points at Beginning of Trading

Doha, April 09 (QNA) - The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index fell 40.03 points, declining 0.40%, at the beginning of Wednesday's trading, to 9856 points, compared to the closing of the last session.

QSE index witnessed positive performance in Telecoms by 1.24%. Meanwhile, Real Estate declined by 0.87%, Insurance by 0.80%, Industrials by 0.77%, Transportation by 0.56%, Banking Financial Services by 0.33%, and Consumer Goods and Services by 0.07%.

By 10:00 a.m, the QSE recorded a trading volume of 42.558 million shares worth QAR 88.608 million across 4365 transactions. (QNA)
