QSE Index Drops by 37.15 Points at Beginning of Trading

Doha, March 27 (QNA) - Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index lost 37.15 points, declining 0.36%, at the beginning of Thursday's trading, to 10,148 points, compared to the closing of the last session.

Qatar Stock Exchange attributed the decline in the index to the negative performance of Transportation by 0.42%, Consumer Goods and Services by 0.28%, Insurance by 0.23%, Industrials by 0.20%, and Real Estate by 0.11%. On the other hand, the performance was positive for Telecoms by 0.02%, and Banking and Financial Services by 0.09%.

At around 10:00 AM, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded 1,464 transactions worth QR 39.936 million, distributed among 17.809 million shares. (QNA)
