QSE Index Drops by 23.85 Points at Beginning of Trading

Doha, March 26 (QNA) - Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index lost 23.85 points, declining 0.23%, at the beginning of Wednesday's trading, to 10,133 points, compared to the closing of the last session.

Qatar Stock Exchange attributed the decline in the index to the negative performance of Transportation by 1.01%, Insurance by 0.39%, Banking and Financial Services by 0.28%, while the Industrial sector's performance stabilized at 0.00%. On the other hand, the performance was positive for Real Estate by 0.53%, Consumer Goods and Services by 0.37%, and Telecoms by 0.17%.

At around 10:00 AM, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded 1,604 transactions worth QR 44.470 million, distributed among 18.561 million shares. (QNA)
