QSE Index Drops by 13.71 Points at Beginning of Wednesday's Trading

Doha, March 05 (QNA) - Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index dropped by 13.71 points, or 0.13%, at the start of trading on Wednesday, falling to 10,457 points, compared to the closing of the last session.

QSE data showed a positive performance in Telecoms by 0.99%, Insurance by 0.75%, Transportation by 0.71%, Consumer Goods and Services by 0.34%, Industrials by 0.13% and Real Estate by 0.05%. On the other hand, the Banking and Financial Services sector recorded a negative performance by 0.50%.

At around 10:00 am, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded 1,748 transactions worth QR 50.617 million, distributed over 21.760 million shares. (QNA)
