QSE Index Drops 59.34 Points at Start of Trading
Doha, February 27 (QNA) - The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) dropped by 59.34 points, or 0.57%, at the start of trading on Thursday, falling to 10,438 points from the previous close.
QSE index recorded gains in Insurance by 1.26%, Consumer Goods and Services by 0.13%, Industrials by 0.12%, and Banks and Financial Services by 0.09%. However, declines were recorded in Telecoms by 0.13%, Transportation by 0.36, and Real Estate by 0.50%.
By 10:00 am, a total of 26.806 million shares had been traded in 2,938 transactions, valued at QR 78.357 million. (QNA)
