QSE Index Drops 42.92 Points at Start of Trading
Doha, February 26 (QNA) - The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) dropped by 42.92 points, or 0.41%, at the start of trading on Wednesday, falling to 10,548 points from the previous close.
QSE index recorded gains in Industrials (+1.18%), Transportation (+0.47), Insurance (+0.34%), and Consumer Goods and Services (+0.14%). However, declines were recorded in Banks and Financial Services (-0.14%), Real Estate (-0.07%), and Telecoms (-0.58%).
By 10:00 am, a total of 44.574 million shares had been traded in 2,429 transactions, valued at QR 86.324 million. (QNA)
