QSE Index Declines Marginally at Start of Today's Trading

Doha, March 09 (QNA) - Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index lost 7.67 points, or 0.07%, at the beginning of Sunday's trading, falling to 10,506 points, compared to the closing of the last session.

Data released by Qatar Stock Exchange showed a positive performance for the Consumer Goods and Services by 0.32%, the Insurance by 0.29%, and the Real Estate by 0.11%. On the other hand, the Industrials saw a negative performance of 0.07%, the Banks and Financial Services decreased by 0.09%, the Telecoms dropped by 0.21% and the Transportation declined by 0.49%.

At around 10:00 AM, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded 1,903 transactions worth QR 92.091 million, distributed among 36.123 million shares. (QNA)
