QSE Index Closes Trading 0.40 Percent Higher

Doha, May 08 (QNA) - The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) closed its trading session on Thursday, up by 41.42 points, or 0.40 percent, to stand at 10,520.04 points.

During the session, a total of 197,891,896 shares were traded, with a value of QR 429,431,138.809, resulting from the execution of 20,727 transactions across all sectors.

The session saw the shares of 27 companies rise, while 24 companies' shares declined, and two companies maintained their previous closing prices.

At the end of the trading session, the market capitalization stood at QR 618,589,315,896.968 compared to QR 616,978,608,093.807 in the previous session. (QNA)
