QSE Index Closes 1.34 Percent Higher

Doha, April 08 (QNA) - The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index closed Tuesday's trading higher by 130.60 points, or 1.34 percent, to end at 9,896.65 points.

During the session, 217,487,795 shares, valued at QAR 564,446,592.677, were traded in 47,509 transactions across all sectors.

Shares of 50 companies rose, while two companies saw a decline in their share price.

Market capitalization at the end of the trading session amounted to QAR 579,795,769,136.619, compared to QAR 571,618,326,477.843 in the previous session. (QNA)
