QSE Index Closes 0.88 Percent Lower

Doha, February 26 (QNA) - Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index closed Wednesday's trading session down by 93.32 points, or 0.88 percent, finishing at 10497.73 points.

During the session, 164,639,189 shares were traded, with a total value of QR 454,225,807.582, resulting from 16520 transactions across all sectors.

The shares of 24 companies rose, while the shares of 24 others declined, with three companies maintaining their previous closing prices.

At the end of the trading session, the market capitalization stood at QR 614,803,574,849.290 compared to QR 620,370,271,222.420 in the previous session. (QNA)
