QSE Index Closes 0.55% Higher

Doha, March 18 (QNA) - The Qatar Stock Exchange general index closed Tuesday's trading higher by 57.61 points, or 0.55%, to end at 10,461.48 points.

During the session, 225,246,142 shares, valued at QR 474,440,444.169, were traded in 38,974 transactions across all sectors.

Shares of 35 companies rose, while 11 companies saw a decline in their share price, and 5 companies maintained their previous closing prices.

Market capitalization at the end of the trading session amounted to QR 612,566,281,345.450, compared to QR 610,163,477,014.732 in the previous session. (QNA)
