QSE Index Closes 0.46 Percent Higher

Doha, March 27 (QNA) - The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index closed Wednesday's trading higher by 47.17 points, or 0.46 percent, to end at 10,232.95 points.

During the session, 116,306,948 shares, valued at QAR 363,275,721.950, were traded in 14,885 transactions across all sectors.

Shares of 17 companies rose, while 31 companies saw a decline in their share price, and five others maintained their previous closing price.

Market capitalization at the end of the trading session amounted to QAR 600,704,002,913.641, compared to QAR 598,289,989,768.559 in the previous session. (QNA)
