QSE Index Closes 0.28 Percent Higher

Doha, March 26 (QNA) - The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index closed Wednesday's trading higher by 28.22 points, or 0.28 percent, to end at 10,185.78 points.

During the session, 135,032,976 shares, valued at QAR 390,160,078.086, were traded in 18,834 transactions across all sectors.

Shares of 38 companies rose, while 12 companies saw a decline in their share price, and one company maintained its previous closing price.

Market capitalization at the end of the trading session amounted to QAR 598,289,989,768.559, compared to QAR 596,438,859,576.294 in the previous session. (QNA)
