QSE Index Closes 0.04 Percent Lower

Doha, May 26 (QNA) - The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index closed Monday's trading lower by 4.49 points, or 0.04 percent, to close at 10731.920 points.

During the session, 224,408,844 shares, valued at QAR 468,580,547.394, were traded in 22,343 transactions across all sectors.

Shares of 32 companies rose, while 18 companies saw a decline in their share price, and three companies maintained its previous closing price.

Market capitalization at the end of the trading session amounted to QAR 633,908,796,626.013, compared to QAR 633,901,803,225.372 in the previous session. (QNA)
