QSE Declines Marginally By 0.06% at Beginning of Trading
Doha, March 17 (QNA) - Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) Index lost 0.06% at the start of Monday's trading session, dropping 6.58 points to reach 10,415 points, compared to the previous session's closing.
Qatar Stock Exchange attributed the decline in the index to the negative performance of the Banking and Financial Services by 0.12%, Telecoms by 0.21%%, Transportation by 0.23% and Insurance by 0.33%. On the other hand, the data showed positive performance for Consumer Goods and Services by 0.45%, Real Estate by 0.19% and Industrials by 0.11%.
At 10:00 AM, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded 2,160 transactions worth QR 55.772 million, distributed over 33.145 million shares. (QNA)
