QSE Declines By 0.18% at Beginning of Trading
Doha, March 16 (QNA) - Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) Index lost 0.18% at the start of Sunday's trading session, dropping 18.25 points to reach 10,404 points, compared to the previous session's closing.
Qatar Stock Exchange attributed the decline in the index to the negative performance of Banking and Financial Services by 0.14%, Telecoms by 0.20%%, and Transportation by 0.58%. On the other hand, the data showed positive performance for the Real Estate by 0.37%, Consumer Goods and Services by 0.11%, Insurance by 0.09%, and Industrials by 0.01%.
At 10:00 AM, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded 4,729 transactions worth QR 44.922 million, distributed over 23.986 million shares. (QNA)
