Qatar Stock Exchange Index Closes Higher

Doha, April 09 (QNA) - The Qatar Stock Exchange index closed on Wednesday with an increase of 7.60 points, or 0.08 percent, reaching a level of 9,904.25 points.

During the session, a total of 191,397,932 shares were traded, with a value of QR 438,534,574.257, executed through 26,589 transactions across all sectors.

Shares of 16 companies rose during the session, while the stocks of 30 others declined. Meanwhile, six companies maintained their previous closing prices.

The market capitalization at the close of the trading session stood at QR 580,816,132,752.200, compared to QR 579,795,769,136.619 in the previous session. (QNA)
