MOCI Hosts Delegation from Saudi Export Development Authority
Doha, September 17 (QNA) - The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI) hosted Wednesday a trade delegation from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, representing the Export Development Authority.
The two sides held a bilateral meeting, which included Assistant Undersecretary for Trade Affairs at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Ayed Manahi Al Qahtani, and Executive Vice President of the Services Exports Sector at the Saudi Export Development Authority, Saud bin Hamad Al Qablan, along with a number of specialists from both sides.
During the meeting, the deep economic ties between the State of Qatar and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia were emphasized, as well as the importance of enhancing joint cooperation in the fields of trade and investment, in line with the objectives of the national visions of both countries.
A number of priority initiatives were also discussed, where the two sides emphasized the need to continue institutional coordination to achieve trade integration and develop the joint investment environment, which will contribute to opening new prospects for partnerships between the private sectors in both countries.
The meeting also addressed ways to support the services export sector and develop partnerships between the public and private sectors, as well as reviewing promising opportunities in various fields, most notably consulting and digital transformation.
Both sides also emphasized the importance of joint action to support the private sector and the ongoing search for commercial partnerships that serve the aspirations of businesspeople in both countries. (QNA)
