German LeapUp GmbH CEO to QNA: Qatar's Infrastructure will Leapfrog Future Technologies

Doha, February 25 (QNA) - Chief Executive Officer of the German LeapUp GmbH, Andre Hofmann, hailed the infrastructure level that exists in the State of Qatar, adding that it evidently advances multiple fields, particularly in the area of technology, which will undoubtedly leapfrog the future technologies.

Speaking to Qatar News Agency (QNA), Hofmann highlighted that this was the first time for the private sector within the German pavilion to participate in Web Summit Qatar 2025, which offered the opportunity to share expertise and meet with leaders of global firms operating in AI, digital industries and other related fields.

Having met with officials from Qatar Research Development and Innovation Council and Director of Qatari Funds at the Qatar Investment Authority (QIA), Hofmann underlined that such productive meetings would have positive impacts in the coming period for the interest of all parties.

He expressed his aspiration to increase the engagement of German private sector in the upcoming summit in Qatar, emphasizing that he engages in the marketing process for the 2026 summit, between members of the German Biosaxony, the association that actively operates in biotechnology, medical technology and health economy sector in the region of Saxony.
