Finance Minister Stresses Need for a Balanced Approach to Achieve Global Economic Integration

Riyadh, October 28 (QNA) - HE Minister of Finance Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari participated in a panel discussion entitled "What is the Balance between Sovereignty and Globalization", as part of the work of the ninth edition of the Future Investment Initiative conference, held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, under the theme "The Key to Prosperity".
During the session, participants discussed ways to balance the sovereignty of countries in their economic decisions with the requirements of globalization that connect markets and economies around the world.
During his intervention, HE the Minister of Finance stressed the importance of adopting a balanced approach that achieves global economic integration and at the same time enhances the resilience of national economies, pointing out that recent experiences have proven that economic independence and global integration are not two contradictory options, but together can form a pillar to achieve sustainable and inclusive growth.
This discussion comes as part of ongoing efforts to promote international dialogue on the future of the global economy and the role of fiscal policies in building more balanced and sustainable economic systems.
HE Minister of Finance, Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari, also attended the closed session titled "What's the True Cost of Economic Security?", as part of the ninth edition of the Future Investment Initiative, which serves as a global platform bringing together government leaders, senior investors, and decision-makers to discuss the most prominent current economic and investment issues.
