As part of its commitment to promoting the health of pilgrims and raising awareness about prevention, the Ministry of Health has released a health awareness kit for the Hajj season of 1446 AH. This initiative aligns with the goals of the Health Sector Transformation Program and the Pilgrim Experience Program, both of which are key components of Saudi Vision 2030. The initiative aims to enhance readiness to address health risks and to enable pilgrims to perform their rituals in good health and peace of mind.

Reflecting the Ministry's dedication to comprehensive preventive healthcare during Hajj, the awareness kit includes a variety of educational content. One of its key components is guidance on preventing heat exhaustion, which includes recommendations such as using umbrellas to minimize direct sun exposure and regularly drinking adequate amounts of water that support pilgrim safety and contribute to a healthy Hajj season.

The kit is available in eight languages, Arabic, English, French, Urdu, Farsi, Indonesian, Malay, and Turkish, to reach the widest possible audience of pilgrims from around the world.

The kit features health guidelines, awareness videos, social media posts, and printable materials to promote proper preventive measures and healthy behaviors. These resources aim to reduce health risks and empower pilgrims to perform their religious duties in a safe and healthy environment.

This initiative underscores the Ministry's focus on providing accurate and reliable health information in multiple languages to meet pilgrims' needs and enhance their health experience during the pilgrimage. The Ministry also encourages all pilgrims and Hajj workers to download and benefit from the kit via the following link:
