Minister of Health Commends Cabinet’s Recognition of Health Sector Transformation Program

The Minister of Health, H.E. Fahad Abdulrahman AlJalajel, appreciated the Cabinet’s commendation of the achievements of the Health Sector Transformation Program. He noted that the program has launched a range of impactful initiatives that have significantly improved the quality and inclusivity of healthcare, strengthened preventive measures, enhanced road safety, and advanced digital health services, all in alignment with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to create a “Vibrant Society” where individuals enjoy a thriving and healthy future.

The Minister highlighted that the Cabinet’s recognition reflects the unwavering support the health sector continues to receive from the Kingdom’s wise leadership — may Allah bless them — and serves as a strong incentive to accelerate progress in healthcare development. He emphasized that the Health Sector Transformation Program is a cornerstone in building an effective and sustainable healthcare system that focuses on preventive care, ensures easier access to medical services, and promotes high-quality, efficient healthcare delivery.

Minister AlJalajel reaffirmed the sector’s commitment to achieving the program’s goals by strengthening public health initiatives, improving service performance, and expanding the use of innovative healthcare technologies — all while maintaining excellence in healthcare delivery in accordance with the highest international standards.
